About the project
A contemporary two-story home with expressive architecture built on the contrast of volumes and materials: light natural stone forms clean geometric frames, while dark brick adds depth and graphic character. Panoramic glazing and cantilevered elements give the building a sense of lightness, and the clear rhythm of the façade emphasizes its premium quality. The spatial experience begins at the entrance: from the foyer, a double-height space opens up along with a view of a three-flight staircase, beyond which the natural landscape—forest and mountains—is immediately visible. From the hall, the layout is logically distributed into several directions: the public zone, the private block, the terrace, and the second floor. The main space of the house is an open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen with a 5-meter ceiling height. Double-sided glazing fills the interior with light, while on the forest-facing side there is a 4.5-meter-high panoramic window, creating a continuous visual connection with nature and sunsets. The kitchen is designed in two formats: a formal “white” kitchen and a functional “black” kitchen, with convenient access from the entrance. The private part of the first floor is isolated and includes a master bedroom with direct access to auxiliary spaces, ensuring comfortable autonomy. On the second floor, the space is organized around a large hall that serves not only as a connecting element but also as an area for relaxation and yoga. Here, the master block with a study is separated from the children’s rooms, ensuring privacy. All bedrooms have private balconies overlooking the forest, reinforcing the idea of living within a natural landscape.

Structural and seismic concept
Load-bearing system uses Concrete+brick. The project is checked for seismic conditions and adapted to the specific site engineering constraints.
The structure is engineered for 9-point seismic activity and meets Almaty construction requirements.
- Monolithic reinforced concrete perimeter belts
- Reinforced wall-to-slab connections
- Balanced load-bearing element distribution
- Structural stiffness control
Structure and materials
Each building element is selected for durability, safety, and compliance with regional climate conditions.
